About impact crushers

Impact crusher is widely used for stone production line in hydroelectric,highway and other industries.It is designed with three crushing chambers,seamlessly connected rotor,wear-resistant hammer plate and installation of insert type.Besides,impact liner is tooth type,which is more efficient.The bearing seat is designed with certain gradient,and frame with several openings;the screws or hydraulic lifting devices equipped with the impact crusher makes the maintenance easy.

Structure of impact crusher

An impact crusher mainly consists of a frame, a high-speed rotor, hammer plates, and an impact crushing chamber. After entering the crushing chamber, the material is thrown at high speed by the hammer plates driven by the rotor, impacting the impact plates, and then crushed through multiple rebounds and impacts. The machine body typically features multiple impact zones to control the crushing effect and finished particle size; externally, it is also equipped with adjustment and maintenance mechanisms for easy adjustment of the gap and replacement of wearing parts. The key feature of the overall structure is the coordinated operation of the "high-speed rotor + impact chamber," achieving high efficiency and good particle shape crushing results.

Working principle of counter-strike breaker

When the crusher works, the motor drives the rotor to rotate with high speed, on the rotor where installed the hammers. When the materials get into the area which the hammers effect, under the impact function of the hammer at a high speed, the materials are thrown to the impact device above the rotor continuously. And then the materials are rebounded from the impact liner to the area where the hammers effects for being recrushed. The materials from large to small all to be crushed at the impact chamber repeatedly.

Impact crushers are suitable for a variety of raw materials

Impact crushers are primarily suitable for medium-hard, soft to medium-hard, and easily crushable materials. Commonly processed raw materials include:
1.Limestone, bluestone (most common, best crushing effect)
2.Medium-hard aggregates such as granite and basalt
3.Concrete, construction waste (commonly used for recycled aggregate processing)
4.Brittle ores such as coal, coke, dolomite, and gypsum
5.Aggregate raw materials such as pebbles and quartz, depending on hardness

Overall, impact crushers are more suitable for brittle materials with a compressive strength not exceeding 350 MPa, especially limestone and construction aggregates, producing good particle shape.
